“ Best service around! Tony and crew are so creative with the dinner specials. Wonderful flavor combinations! ”
“ Excellent value from years ago and i don't know about now. They had the best shrimp cocktail that u ever had. Loved their fish entres6.Good grub! ”
“ Don't usually review a place twice, but the Oyster Bar is so good I just had to. The clam chowder is better than anything I've had in the coast or Caribbean. I had jalapeño bacon baked oysters- delicious. My wife had the black and blue oysters. A bit spicy but she loved them. This place is small, tight but the service and food make up for it. Tori was our server and she was perfect. Don't miss this Ft Wayne icon. ”
“ By far one of my favorite spots in Fort Wayne! It's unique, quaint, and offers some of the freshest seafood in town. I usually order the fresh catch/chef's special, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Be sure to call ahead for reservations because there are only a handful of tables and maybe 8 seats at the bar rail. ”
“ Food was incredible, especially the calamari and oysters! The wait staff was friendly. The restaurant is dark but the ambiance is calm. ”
“ Believe the hype! I was staying down the street at the Hilton and got a recommendation from the bartender. I walked down at about 4 PM and spoke with a waitress and the bartender in The Oyster Bar about the menu, seat availability, etc. They were both so kind and helpful. We returned at 7 for dinner and had seats reserved at the bar. This is a small restaurant, so reservations are recommended. It is a small restaurant but clean and very efficient. I had the raw Chesapeake Bay oysters and the Admiral Cut Filet mignon. Both were perfect! ”
“ OMG! This place is a must while you're in town. The history of the location along with the service and experience were all amazing. The food met my expectations and then some I would highly recommend the oyster bar to anyone that is in the area. ”
“ The ambiance is very pleasant, with a cozy atmosphere that sets a nice tone. I'm a fan of their menu and specials. Although I can't recall the name of our waitress, she did an outstanding job--welcoming and incredibly helpful. The food was cooked to perfection, and the raw oysters were a highlight; you can't go wrong with them. ”
“ Went for savor Ft Wayne but have been here several times in the past. The food is always fresh and delicious. I loved the tuna tartare. Black and bleu salmon was very good, the bleu cheese was not over powering in the dish. Cioppino flavors were decent, but on the heavier side than I'm used to. Their bread is hot and fresh too. Full bar and cocktails here are strong. Our service this time was okay but we've definitely had better in the past here. It is VERY small inside but that's what makes it the oyster bar. ”
